Salalah International Airport serves as the Sultanate of Oman's secondary international airport, complementing Muscat International Airport. Situated on the Salalah coastal plain within the Dhofar Governorate, it is approximately 5.5 kilometers (3.4 mi) northeast of Salalah's city center.
